Congratulations to Dr. Kathy Tse who successfully defended her thesis last week. Her work in Dr. Mike Gold's lab focused on signal transduction mechanisms during B cell activation and migration. Kathy is currently working as a Post-Doc for the Centre for Drug Research and Development. (Vancouver - Dec. 6, 2007) - A science student who helped to make UBC-patented medicine more accessible in developing countries has been named the 2008 Rhodes Scholar for British Columbia.
