presents a seminar by:

entitled:
The DARPA Pandemic Prevention Platform: how UBC spinout is helping to save the world, one cell at a time

AbCellera is a local biotechnology company that was founded in 2012 based on a suite of microfluidic single-cell analysis technologies developed at UBC.  In my talk I will highlight the application of AbCellera's single-cell analysis technology for the deep profiling of human antibody responses, and will describe how this capability is now being applied in the Pandemic Prevention Platform (P3) intiative, a $150M program of the US Defense Advanced Research Programs Agency (DARPA) to establish rapid countermeasures against viral pandemics.
